Included
Prices include installation in Nanaimo, Lantzville, Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Ladysmith.

What moves the price: length and corners first, then posts or no top rail, whether it mounts on the side or the top of the deck, stairs, and the easy-clean coating for salt spray. Every quote meets the BC Building Code for railing height, strength and gap size. If the edge of your deck is not strong enough to hold the railing, we tell you on the visit.

Questions

About the price

Why does glass with no top rail cost more?

The glass is thicker (12 mm instead of 10 mm) and needs heavier hardware to hold it up on its own, either a metal channel along the deck or round steel mounts bolted to the side.

Does the price include installation?

Yes. Every price on this page includes installation and permit drawings in Nanaimo and the mid-Island.

What is not included?

Deck repairs, replacing the boards along the deck edge, and the City’s permit fee. We can quote deck work separately if you want us to do it.

How long until the railing is installed?

3 to 4 weeks after the order goes in, mostly waiting on the aluminum and glass to be made. The order goes in once you approve the quote and pay the deposit. Spring and summer installs fill up by March, so book early.
